identifies the problem: a

burst error that prevented

the positive polarity width

that starts at 859.61

from reaching its peak

value. This defect

caused the reflectivity to

drop and to erratically

fluctuate throughout the

duration of the burst

error. The defect affected

the width of the next pit

as well, which created

the pit width centered

between the 4T and 5T

band of the XY plot.
